Aberdeen Interprofessional Education Research

Why should students join CAIPE?

For a cost of only 5 for the duration of your course, you can become a student member of CAIPE (Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education), an independent organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of interprofessional education.

Access to useful resources

Not only will this membership enhance your CV, but you will also be able to access key resources, papers and the contact details of national and international leaders/authors in this field. This will enable you to source evidence to underpin your studies where collaborative practice plays a significant role. You will also have access to the student section of the CAIPE website dedicated to the exchange between CAIPE student members.

Access to people and new developments

Other benefits include being invited to attend a national student conference with leading keynote speakers- for this event there will be no registration fee and refreshments will be provided. By email communications, you will be sent the CAIPE E-Bulletin with news about interprofessional education, developments and innovations. Importantly, this will enable you to keep abreast of the latest policies and developments in the IPE field, strengthening evidence cited in the content of your written assignments, where appropriate. You will also be notified regularly about interprofessional events in the UK and other countries through the CAIPE diary of events, and enjoy priority booking when registering for CAIPE events.
